If you’re interested in consciously-designed, reclaimed wood furniture and decor to complete or accent your room, well yeah, you know where this is going…this kit is for you.
I tend to enjoy a well-designed piece of reclaimed wood furniture. Natural wood is aesthetically pleasing, sustainability is always a good thing, and a kit with a few curated finds on this theme is the cherry on the ice cream.
A Kit for a Reclaimed Wood Room: Consciously-Designed Finds
for that earthy life
A Conscious Alternative
This is a beautiful two cabinet, three drawer, shelving unit made of reclaimed Pine wood — with a metal frame and legs for support. Good for storage in any room, or a living / dining room centerpiece.
A Conscious Alternative
I find the whole steampunk / iron industrial rustic aesthetic to be pretty neat. This end table is handmade and hand-finished, and constructed from reclaimed timber sourced from local demolished buildings, according to the seller.
A Conscious Alternative
Love the minimalist, natural wood look of this chair. ZANAT is also an incredible company that practices ethical sourcing, abides by fair wage standards, and utilizes energy efficient technologies and waste reduction strategies to reduce their environmental impact. Something interesting — according to their site, “All excess shavings and pieces cut too small to be made into useful products are put to use heating our factory during the winter.”
A Conscious Alternative
Some people aren’t too big on coffee tables, but I feel they help to complete the look of a room, so I included one in this kit. This coffee table is crafted with a solid reclaimed wood top and metal legs. Its look can fit in pretty much any room.
A Conscious Alternative
In my opinion, this table is incredibly elegant and modern…but it’s a bit pricey. If you’re looking for a consciously-designed, sustainable wood table to invest in, put this one on your list.

Just a simple tree who likes to see his fellow trees given a new life and a new look. Just kidding. I’m just a guy who enjoys reclaimed wood and dislikes plastic-based decor and furniture. In all seriousness, reclaimed wood looks great, is a sustainable building material, and helps to reduce waste. I’m also an advocate of conscious consumption and hope to add a few more kits, down the road, of beautiful, consciously-designed reclaimed wood pieces.
